Supporting ASVA (Association of Scottish Visitor Attractions) to Launch New Quality Scheme for Scottish Attractions.

ASVA originally operated a Quality Scheme for visitor attractions before giving it to VisitScotland. Following VisitScotland’s retirement of their scheme, ASVA took the initiative to develop a new, not-for-profit programme tailored specifically for Scottish attractions, activities, and experience providers. The scheme offers expert star grading, exclusive training, and comprehensive support, all delivered on a best-value basis.

We played a key role in bringing this vision to life by designing a bold and recognisable Quality Scheme mark. This adaptable device created using ASVA’s existing colour palette, allows for the display of star ratings from 3 to 5, linking it back to the overarching brand identity. We also developed a comprehensive asset pack and a light guideline to educate ASVA members on the appropriate application of the mark in their brand communications.

The Quality Scheme is open to all attractions, as well as activity and experience providers, regardless of ASVA membership. However, ASVA members participating in the scheme will enjoy additional benefits, including access to world-class standards, tailored training, and benchmarking tools.

ASVA’s new Quality Scheme is now live and we are honoured to have contributed to this significant development in Scotland’s tourism industry and look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on enhancing visitor experiences across the country.
