The Visit Berwickshire Coast team came to Intimation looking for a fresh and distinct brand, which would allow them to promote the area as a welcoming and friendly destination.
The town of Eyemouth lies at the heart of Berwickshire and includes Gunsgreen House, Eyemouth Museum plus various fishing, diving and boat trips. St Abbs Head, which is a National Nature Reserve owned by NTS, is home to over 50,000 birds and offers spectacular coastal views towards Edinburgh and the Firth of Forth.
The new logo incorporates all of the well-known activities including surfing, diving and fishing. The famous St Abbs lighthouse is also included alongside a bird-watcher and several birds, common to the area. The vibrant colours chosen for the logo represent sea, sky and sand, a nod to the numerous beaches and harbours dotted along the coastline.
The logo is just the first stage of the new brand for Visit Berwickshire Coast, and more projects are already underway to provide a range of marketing materials for the organisation.
